“Bamboo Grove” is modeled like a traditional Tribal Colony inside Periyar Tiger Reserve.

All the huts here are made among bamboo clumps with the help of Tribals using only natural sources like leaves, bamboo and poles.

There are 7 Cottages, 4 Tents, a Lecture Hall and a “Tree Top” watchtower in this Complex.

The cottages and tents are meant for two persons each and provided with attached toilets.

The Complex is well guarded with fencing and adequate security.

All the buildings are electrified and there is provision for catering.

It will be an experience to stay in this Complex which in eco-friendly and suited to the climate and topography of the Park.

There is provision to listen to lectures given by experts of wildlife and nature with the help of audio-visual equipments.

A “Nature Walk” is included in the package.
