Unlike other states in India, Kerala is rich in bio-diversity. It has 12 wildlife sanctuaries and 2 National parks. Western Ghats in one of the 18 hotspots of Bio-diversity in the world. Touromark is a unique travel agent in Thekkady which is fully dedicated to Eco-tourism because the administrators of Touromark are nature lovers and concerned about sustainable development. Mass tourism is destructive as far as bio-diversity is concerned; therefore Touromark aims at Eco-tourism for sustainable development of Periyar Tiger Reserve and surrounding areas. Touromark also gives equal importance to other Protected Areas like Eravikulam National Park and Parambikulam wildlife sanctuary. The bio-diversity of these protected areas are also very rich.
Touromark is committed to conservation and strictly practice Eco-tourism.

- We Have Very low impact on the Eco-region.
- Educate the tourist and travelers as well as local community about the Eco system and its importance for conservation and sustainable development.
- Provide fund for the conservation of the Eco-region from the amount collected from the tourists through various Eco development committees (EDC). Besides a part of the fund collected also goes to the local tribal community through EDCs. This is the essential part in any Eco-tourism project in the world. Therefore it gives immense pleasure that we are doing it.
- Help empower indigenous people to raise their standard of living by providing additional employment.

M/S Touromark Jungle tours Thekkady has been promoting the community based eco tourism initiatives of Periyar Tiger Reserve right from the beginning. They have been associating with many community programs such as plastic free day cleaning, environmental awareness campaigns etc. of Periyar Tiger Reserve. They are the well-wishers of Periyar Tiger Reserve and its conservation programs.
